No two people have the exact same symptoms, some may have just the skin affected, (Discoid, or Subcutaneous Lupus), full blown lupus (Systemic Lupus), or sometimes medications will bring it on, (Drug-Induced Lupus). People of any sex or age can get lupus, and the cause is unknown, but it is mainly found in women, of child-bearing age. We call it "Living with Lupus", because it is no longer the death sentence it used to be. Most people are living long, fairly productive lives, thanks to better physician awareness and newer treatments. and other helpful sites, as well as poetry and prose written by lupies!
